Hi! I’m Emily, a 24-year-old woman looking for a monogamous male life partner. I live near Philadelphia, but am not settled yet.
I center my life around close relationships and doing good for the world. My brain works in optimizey ways, but I also trust intuition, feel deeply, and love being playful.
What’s noticeable about me in relationships is that I’m an intense person! I naturally go all in and move fast when aligned with something. I feel profoundly grateful to be alive, so I try to live with maximum agency.
My lifestyle is minimalist and utility based (though not robotic-y!), and this leads me to be very open-minded about how to get things done. I adore unconventional ideas (e.g. I sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor with no pillow), and highly value authenticity and creativity.
Ultimately, my favorite moments are the mundane moments just being present, especially with close friends. And I love when the people in my life balance me to be more spontaneous, accepting, and joyful for the sake of being joyful.
I’m concerned about existential risks like climate change and potentially AI. I’m especially concerned the US is heading towards authoritarianism and won’t be able to address these problems. To help, I travel across the country to win key elections and protect democracy. I love my job, though it requires a nomadic lifestyle. I’d consider finding a different job to make logistics work with my life partner.
When I’m not working, I spend time in nature (I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail three years ago!), talk with friends and build community, read, journal, and experiment with life!
A transcendent kind of love. A best friend. Someone who feels warm and like home. I find my deepest friendships make me not fear death, so maybe something like that…
